BACKGROUNDS - Unless otherwise requested, I will paint a neutral, plain background, usually in a light or medium beige. A garden or landscape background can be painted for an extra £40 on paintings size 16" x 12", £50 on paintings 18" x14", £60 on paintings 20" x 16", £70 on paintings 24" x 20", £90 on paintings 24" x 30" and £115 on paintings 36"x30". Please allow an extra 2 weeks if you require a landscape background.
Very intricate landscape or interior backgrounds will be charged at the price of 2 subject paintings in whatever size you require. This is in addition to the price of the pet study.
ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS - More than 2 - On sizes16" x 12" please add £45 for each extra head study and £55 for each extra full body study. On 18" x 14" sizes, please add £65 for each extra head study and £75 for each extra full body study. On sizes 20" x 16" sizes please add £85 for each extra head study and £95 for each extra full body study. On sizes 24" x 20" please add £95 for each extra head study and £105 for each extra full body study. On sizes 36" x 24 please add £125 for each extra head study and £155 for each extra full body study. On sizes 36 x 30" please add £145 for each extra head study and £175 for each extra full body study.
PHOTOGRAPH - The clearer the photograph the better the result. Please make sure that your photo is CLEAR, IN FOCUS and, if possible, filling the whole frame of a normal sized photograph. All photos will, of course, be returned to you with your finished painting.
TIME - UK Clients, please allow 5 - 6 weeks for completion. Overseas Clients, please allow 6 - 7 weeks. From October until Christmas it is not always possible to keep to the above times but, if this is the case, you will be informed when you order.
PAYMENT - Please forward 20% with your order, by cheque or postal order. The balance will become due upon completion of your painting.
COMPLETE REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT DELIGHTED and your pet portrait or painting is returned undamaged within 10 days of delivery to you.

FOREIGN CURRENCY CHEQUES Payments by PayPal are the preferred method and the easiest. You may also pay by UK Sterling Cheques. However, if you live outside the UK and wish to pay in your own countries' currency, the following are the British Bank's charges for cheque conversions. The relevant amount will need to be added to your invoice. If you wish to pay with one cheque instead of deposit cheque and balance cheque, this will reduce the amount the banks apply as they levy the charge on each cheque. 1) See which of the Bank Tariff Charges below, applies to the price of the painting you are interested in. 2) Add the Tariff Charge to the price of the painting. 3) Convert the price of the painting, to which you have just added the Tariff Charge, to your own currency by using the Currency Converter at the top of this page. If you are still not sure, please just email me and I will help out.
